Why I'm standing

I'm standing for the Otago Regional Council to do my bit to look after our home and people. My knowledge will support the council to make inclusive decisions that will allow everyone the opportunity to thrive. I bring new ideas and practical solutions from my professional and governance experience working in our community across education, health, justice and social services to support and care for people. I will work hard to help.

About me

I bring new ideas, leadership experience, and a wealth of community knowledge. My skill for helping people, coupled with my passion for the outdoors makes me a candidate with drive. My values and belief in equity and inclusion have guided me throughout my career as a leader, cultural advisor, and educator. The council would benefit from the skills I have to offer.

My priorities
  1. Access and health of fresh water – our future health depends on this resource.
  2. Pest control – trapping and hunting will encourage healthier lifestyle choices and opportunities.
  3. Public transport solutions that are practical and affordable. Equitable access and Inclusion.
