Why I'm standing

I have been disappointed by the slow response to climate change, and the poor management of our bus services.

About me

With 18 years experience in local goverment in Dunedin at borough council and community board level I understand the difference between governance and management, and can hit the ground running. Having been out of the game for 15 years I can bring a fresh perspective to the council which looks like it needs a refresh.

My priorities
  1. Declare a climate emergency and co-operate with Dunedin City Council on their Zero Carbon 2030 goal.
  2. Give the bus services to Dunedin or comprehensively overhaul the whole system and improve it.
  3. Settle the Land and Water Regional Plan and enforce non-compliance. The plan is long overdue.
