Why I'm standing

Tauranga is bursting with great scenic beauty and potential which I am committed to protecting by providing great service, practical infrastructure, better business, good governance, and to working hard, protecting and advancing our region's future, ensuring that essential services meet the needs of this and future generations, by connecting with local communities, local organisations, and businesses. Strategic direction that represents the people's interests is my goal, as well as providing community leadership.

About me

I have lived in this region for over 30 years with the added benefit of extensive business and local government experience and personal success as a self-employed accountant. You can be assured that I have our community at heart and will bring honesty, enthusiasm and commitment, with a fresh approach to regional council.

My priorities
  1. A strong commitment to climate change and working with the community on adapting to our future.
  2. To lift the profile of the regional council by working and increasing participation with communities.
  3. A fit for purpose and reliable public transport system for Tauranga and the region.
