Why I'm standing

I'm running because I care about our city and how liveable it will be for future generations. Our local board requires a future perspective and this is something I bring, along with strong relationships and a professional approach, to the role. Housing, transport, community well-being, the environment; these are all things that are front of mind for Aucklanders. We need aspirational and focused leaders who will boldly address these issues.

About me

I am a good elected representative because I can work collaboratively with both the community and council. This job is all about relationships and strong leadership. I'm experienced, capable and incredibly open-minded. I'm willing to shift my stake, in light of fulsome information and I think that's an important quality in an elected representative. I have years of governance experience and a degree in Political Science.

My priorities
  1. Seek a pathway to fund the Francis to Esmonde cycle and walking route and get the project moving.
  2. Work with Auckland Transport to deliver a new Ferry Terminal at Bayswater for fast, frequent electric ferries.
  3. Request Eke Panuku to consider Sunnynook town centre as a priority location for urban regeneration.
