The Devonport-Takapuna Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. Why I'm standing
As a current Local Board Member I have been a passionate and dedicated community advocate for many years. Our local area has many great assets, a unique environment and amenities, and I will work to retain these.
About me
As a current Local Board Member I have advocated to provide for the needs of our community. As a previous Assistant Principal of an Auckland High School I bring compassion, the ability to consult and be a positive voice.
My priorities
- Instigate sunlight protection rules for our parks and beaches. Intensification won't protect these.
- Safeguard our environment, keep library services and community arts/sports facilities.
- Prioritise public transport, make it viable and reduce emissions.
