Devonport-Takapuna Local Board

The Devonport-Takapuna Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of six members. Why I'm standing

As a current Local Board Member I have been a passionate and dedicated community advocate for many years. Our local area has many great assets, a unique environment and amenities, and I will work to retain these.

About me

As a current Local Board Member I have advocated to provide for the needs of our community. As a previous Assistant Principal of an Auckland High School I bring compassion, the ability to consult and be a positive voice.

My priorities
  1. Instigate sunlight protection rules for our parks and beaches. Intensification won't protect these.
  2. Safeguard our environment, keep library services and community arts/sports facilities.
  3. Prioritise public transport, make it viable and reduce emissions.
