Why I'm standing

I'm Wellington born, bred and committed to delivering achievable solutions that are good for the region. With better decision-making processes and smart spending cognisant of today's conditions our region will flourish. I'm here to help make sure we're pragmatic – we act fast but wisely

About me

Everywhere I go, I make things happen. It's the passion I've had my whole life, as a police officer keeping the streets safe, team captain of NZ Athletics, on boards in business and government organisations, at charity start-ups Variety Club, KidsCan and Pet Refuge, and most importantly here and now. Throughout my decades of experience, I've always believed in implementation and doing what's right.

My priorities
  1. Good decision making processes – appropriate level of research, evidence gathering and preplanning.
  2. Rejuvenating Wellington's creative reputation.
  3. Smart spending fit for today's tougher conditions.
