Why I'm standing

I believe Wellington is the most dynamic part of the country. But there's no doubt it faces serious challenges. We need candidates who have an eye for detail and a knack for collaboration to make headway with these issues.

About me

Councillors need to be smart enough to learn on the job and they need to be able to work with others. As an educator, I know how to bring people along with me, and how to get things moving. I also have an eye for detail, having worked as a researcher and earned my doctorate at Oxford University.

My priorities
  1. Fix our broken water system to ensure continuity and minimise disruption.
  2. Build our climate and disaster resilience and protect our natural environment.
  3. Bring our Golden Mile back to life by supporting local businesses and smart transport solutions.
