Why I'm standing

I believe I have the skillsets in areas of transport, resilience and the environment to assist the region's progress. Experience, expertise and the ability to provide solutions are in my DNA. I also hold a fair degree of institutional historical knowledge of our region, and will put that to good use if elected.

About me

My philosophy is based around dealing with the issue rather than the emotion, and being fair and reasonable. I am an upstander not a bystander, and am evidence based in any decision-making. My background with boards, trust and charities, plus a strong business background offer an advantage with dealing with issues and providing solutions. I am very much people first focussed.

My priorities
  1. Public transport is a big priority. No more mistakes that are costly would be a mantra.
  2. Our environment deserves to be championed. I am achieving that, and will do so into the future.
  3. Resilience is key to all aspects of our region's success especially economic, and community success.
