Why I'm standing
As a current member, I understand the role that the Waitematā Local Board can play in realising the potential of the inner heart of our great city. But I also understand how the board can become a wheel spinning rubber-stamping bureaucracy. It must aim higher and achieve more and I want to be joined by board members who share my vision and passion.
About me
I won't accept second best for the Waitematā. It has a unique role in Auckland and New Zealand. I want to work hard and inspire others to work hard on all the big and small things needed to get Central Auckland back on its feet.
My priorities
- Breathe life back into the Auckland CBD.
- Redevelop Central Auckland waterfront.
- Take local board consultation and decision making out into the community.
