Why I'm standing

I want the Whau to be the best place possible for my daughters to grow up in. I believe Auckland local government is in crisis, due to centralisation, increasing bureaucracy, and reducing democracy.

About me

I am a civil engineer and will apply a problem solving, analytical approach to local issues. I will be an independent local voice, advocating and making decisions based on what is best for the local community, not driven by party politics, climate extremism, or pronouncements from the council bureaucracy, Wellington, or the UN.

My priorities
  1. Fight for increased local decision making.
  2. Work with communities to identify and address local issues and increase democratic engagement.
  3. Advocate for council to reduce bureaucracy and focus on providing core infrastructure and services.
