Why I'm standing

I believe that Whau needs representation to reflect the growing diverse population. It is critical to represent voice of all ratepayers, business and renters and vulnerable communities. I am local and I have lived in Whau for over three decades. I am a company director, governance board member of Drowning Prevention Auckland, National Lotteries Committee and Chair the Whau Ethnic Collective, a ratepayer funded group. I seek a sustainable, resilient Whau where all people thrive.

About me

I am a local and I am vested in Whau. I am a practical community engagements individual and have been instrumental in leading events alongside Auckland Council. I have governance and community development skills and experience. I have studied public management, project management and public policy. I have experience running public funded organizations. I am about people I serve and will always put people, not politics first. Your vote will help me serve.

My priorities
  1. Introduce a Safer Whau Plan in association with NZ Police, business, communities and residents.
  2. Encourage and empower communities social cohesion through resources and funds to come together.
  3. Commit to responsible spending – use local people for local contracts to refurbish local areas.
