Why I'm standing

I want to be a part of helping shape our future for the better. Seeing the decisions being made on important community issues, I feel that we need strong and positive representation on the board.

About me

I'm a current member on the Whau Local Board, former chair of the New Lynn Business Association, and property manager in my family's business spanning 3 generations in New Lynn. Through these roles, I spend a lot of time working with local employers, business owners and community groups to promote an active and vibrant town centre. I have been a community advocate to the local board on important issues such as safety, transport and development.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for the development of a multi-storey Park and Ride in New Lynn to help encourage mode shift.
  2. Support the retention of the aquatic and recreation centre in the Whau.
  3. Support initiatives that reduce air, water and land pollution, particularly around the Whau river.
