Why I'm standing

I'm concerned our Whau community has not been heard regarding housing intensification and the proposed changes to local parks and green spaces.

About me

I have lived, worked and served in Avondale for most of my life. I'm a founding and current member of Whau Pasifika and I have worked in communications for a not-for-profit Pacific business organisation. I am an active volunteer in various community and sports groups. I believe in being present and active in the community, being myself and building relationships while respecting other people's views and opinions.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for my Whau community at local board level and amplify our communities voice.
  2. Future planning integrates green spaces, recreational places, heritage sites and waterways.
  3. More funding for local community groups working in the Whau area.
