I'm concerned our Whau community has not been heard regarding housing intensification and the proposed changes to local parks and green spaces.
About me
I have lived, worked and served in Avondale for most of my life. I'm a founding and current member of Whau Pasifika and I have worked in communications for a not-for-profit Pacific business organisation. I am an active volunteer in various community and sports groups. I believe in being present and active in the community, being myself and building relationships while respecting other people's views and opinions.
My priorities
- Advocate for my Whau community at local board level and amplify our communities voice.
- Future planning integrates green spaces, recreational places, heritage sites and waterways.
- More funding for local community groups working in the Whau area.
