Why I'm standing
I was first encouraged to become Mayor of Coromandel by a friend who works on the local committee. The thought stuck and I thought about what needs to be done for various places and to solve various problems. I soon realised I would have everything fixed within about five months and would have run out of things to do. It is a logical choice for a last minute decision to become Mayor of Auckland.
About me
I feel I have more to offer than many others and to work in other roles may waste talent needed in mass management of assets like as Mayor of Auckland. It has been said that Elon Musk realized at one point in his life that other people don't think like he does. People with a great mind should use it.
My priorities
- Protect remaining biodiversity in Auckland region. Both land and sea.
- Ban dredging and replace it with a contact-less technology.
- Reduce unnecessary traffic – this has the most economic effect in a fiscal way.
