Why I'm standing
I believe we can create a fully accessible city that is ready for change.
About me
I've lived and worked in and around Upper Hutt for the last 16 years. I have had the honour of hearing people's stories and their goals for the future. I've heard about and worked with the many great services, groups and organisations. But I have also seen and tried to navigate gaps in our community. I hope to be given the chance to support the filling of those gaps.
My priorities
- Ensure that 50% fully accessible housing is included in all developments.
- Using the healthy homes standards already in place, to ensure our rental market is above that level.
- Create infrastructure that allows for easy access for young people, disabled people and others.
