Why I'm standing

I love Upper Hutt and I want to see it's true potential unleashed. We've got a lot of exciting projects going on at the moment but I want to see the rest of the city progress as well. As a 23 years old renter, I bring perspectives and a voice that our council table is otherwise severely lacking. Upper Hutt has a bright future ahead of it and I want to help shape that future.

About me

I'm a born and bred Upper Hutt local, who understands what makes our city tick. I'm a future-focused pragmatist with a common-sense approach and I'm not afraid to speak my mind when it comes to standing up for what is right. I make myself accessible to people and make to listen to what our residents tell me. I don't want a job for life, I just Upper Hutt to be the best it can be.

My priorities
  1. Fix the roads. I will prioritise a major repair and replace programme to bring them back up to scratch.
  2. Be proactive when it comes to investing in our infrastructure so we are ready for growth.
  3. Revitalise the Main Street. We need to incentivise businesses to invest in the CBD alongside council.
