Why I'm standing

Local government needs to be more accessible and transparent. I will listen to the community voices and focus on bringing communities together through collaborative decision-making, and co-design. I believe in not just talking but getting stuff done. I have a strong track record of bringing ideas to life. I also think we need strong leadership and critical thinking, and I bring curiosity, vision, and strong execution skills.

About me

I'm a leadership consultant who works with organisations to set purpose, vision and strategy. I love living in Upper Hutt and want to do this for our city to ensure we are able to realise our goals. I have also served on my local community committee as president for two terms and have sound governance experience. I build great relationships and bring people together.

My priorities
  1. Develop implementation plan for Sustainability Strategy to ensure outcomes across all policy areas.
  2. Empower and support community development to grow safer, more connected, thriving communities.
  3. Ensure connectedness and accessibility of our city and its amenities for all to enjoy.
