Why I'm standing

Upper Hutt has experienced significant population growth in recent years and needs an experienced hand to ensure infrastructure, facilities and services are affordable for ratepayers. Promises are easy to make but hard to deliver.

About me

I have represented residents seven times since 1989 and will continue to bring continuity, experience and common sense to the council table. I have worked in the non profit space for over 25 years and have employed local people during that time. Recently, I have been working with older people. I belong to many local organisations and would like to think I'm a good listener.

My priorities
  1. Delivering services and projects within budget as outlined in the long term plan.
  2. Allowing positive growth and that infrastructure is appropriate and affordable.
  3. Managing rate payer expectations.
