Why I'm standing

I believe council should show broad representation of ages, ethnicities and backgrounds, with the common goal of making it the best it can be for everyone. I have the vision and integrity required for this role.

About me

I have lived in Whanganui for over 12 years and am raising my family here. I have owned business in Whanganui, and have experience working on community led projects and project management. I am well known in the community and aim to encourage more engagement in local politics through community consultation.

My priorities
  1. Build a well functioning multi-modal transport system that is efficient and effective.
  2. Reestablish traditional wetlands to minimise flood zones and create cleaner waterways and soil.
  3. Invest in more low cost council owned housing.
