Why I'm standing

We have three big government reforms ahead of us creating great uncertainty. I want to provide my knowledge and experience to ensuring we come through this process retaining a clear local voice. I'm also keen to see the port project, which I champion, complete and considerably more affordable housing built. Environment considerations are also important as we cope with higher rainfall events and other changes in climate.

About me

I'm a very experienced councillor with a strong background in business and community. My local knowledge and experience are of considerable advantage to our community as we navigate the uncertainty ahead. I have participated in the development of much of our policy and strategy and it's important that we see these in action. I'm passionate about my community.

My priorities
  1. Completion of the port to a functioning marine precinct, safe recreation and a slip way that works.
  2. Build more homes. End people living in cars or three families per house. Warm affordable homes are a right.
  3. Prioritise issues. Water, wastewater and management of rain events. Action plans for coastal and dune erosion.
