I am standing for council because I want to help guide the exciting change and progress that Whanganui finds itself experiencing. I believe I have the experience and ability to do so. My business experience and community acumen will help provide diversity of thought, and also considered decision-making at the council table. Our future growth is inevitable, but no one sector should be left behind.

I have a wealth of experience in local governance at business, economic development, and community level with a proven track record. I also have extensive connections back to my community both at a business and at a community level.
My priorities
- Listen and learn so that I can be effective in what I want to achieve for our community.
- Get Whanganui above third from bottom in tourism income compared to the rest of New Zealand.
- Understand what can be done to make sure the whole community can benefit from our economic growth.
