Hutt City Council

Hutt City At Large
The Hutt City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of 12 councillors and the mayor. This election is for the six councillors elected by all voters in the city. The other councillors will be elected to represent wards (areas in the city). Why I'm standing

I want to continue to provide a strong younger voice at council to ensure we're making the best decisions not just for the people that choose to call Lower Hutt home now, but those in the future also. I love living in Lower Hutt, raising my family and running my business here, and truly believe I can make it a better place.

About me

I will continue to actively engage with the community on all topics and challenges we face. The voice of the community is critical to good decision making, and being transparent and a high level of integrity boosts trust in elected members that they are making the best decisions for all our people.

My priorities
  1. Climate change.
  2. Councils are facing a lot of uncertainty, and my voice and influence will be important.
  3. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) rollout throughout the entire city.
