Why I'm standing

I'm running because I love Upper Hutt and want to ensure it grows in a way that is sustainable, safe, and supportive for all our community. I want to make sure residents' voices are heard and that council decisions reflect the real needs of families, local businesses, and our environment.

About me

I bring a strong connection to the local community, experience in volunteering, and a commitment to practical solutions. I am Māori and will provide a direct voice for iwi, while also supporting all residents to make Upper Hutt a safe, thriving, and inclusive city.

My priorities
  1. Protect water management infrastructure, protect the environment and keep rates affordable for residents.
  2. Improve transport and road safety by repairing potholes, maintaining paths and providing reliable public transport.
  3. Revitalise the CBD and local economy by encouraging responsible development and supporting businesses.
