Why I'm standing

Upper Hutt needs strong leadership going into the next term. We have a lot of challenges and I will bring a strong voice to represent Upper Hutt in regional forums. We have a fantastic place here, and I want to see it prosper and grow with financial responsibility, getting the basics right, and helping our community to feel they are proud to live here.

About me

I'm a first term councillor, a mum, and a leadership consultant who works with organisations to set purpose, vision and strategy. I love living in Upper Hutt and want to do this for our city to ensure we are able to realise our goals. I have also served on my local community committee as president for two terms and have sound governance experience. I build great relationships and bring people together.

My priorities
  1. Save money by removing what is not required from the long term plan and deferring 'nice to haves'.
  2. Create real efficiency through use of AI and tech solutions, removing admin and working smarter.
  3. Plan for infrastructure needs to allow the city to grow sustainably.
