Why I'm standing

I have a vested interest in Upper Hutt being an established retailer of 57 years (Wheelers Shoes). I want to see a healthy, vibrant and safe CBD. Economic growth and vibrancy radiates from within.

About me

I have been a city councillor for 15 years. A keen sportsman with strong ethics, values and principles. An active member of UHutts community patrol striving to keep our city safe for all. I love Uhutt; this is a great place to live. My goal is to make it even better.

My priorities
  1. Ensure good representation on the new water entity and advocate affordability of costs.
  2. Conduct rates review in 2026 balancing affordability and business as usual core services.
  3. Support a vacant property bylaw on commercial buildings that have been empty for over three years.
