Upper Hutt City Council

The Upper Hutt City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of ten councillors and the mayor. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. About me

I am a committed Catholic who believes in care of creation, justice, the dignity and of right of all people to have what is necessary to basic human living, housing food, warmth, and enjoyment of life. That we are a community and should care for each other.

My priorities
  1. Save our water. Water is precious and access to it is a basic human right. Protect it.
  2. Keep local democracy, the principle of subsidiarity.
  3. Ensure nice to have as we all need places of enjoyment and fun.
