Why I'm standing

I'm standing to learn and to serve. Lived here since late 1995, and keen to give something back. Upper Hutt is a great little city that's growing in so many ways. It deserves prudent councillors with broad talent bases, and character to back that up. I sincerely believe I can make a difference on council, and I'm looking for your support to do so.

About me

I'm a qualified scientist with a diverse background spanning electronics, sales and market research, so I'll bring real practical skills to the table if elected. My jam is creating solutions and bringing them to fruition. I'm also very cost effective too, been told I do things for one third the price of the competition. In my youth I ran sports clubs and did student radio, even had my own breakfast show.

My priorities
  1. Navigate the upcoming local government legislation and keep the council on an even keel.
  2. See that rates are as affordable as possible without sacrificing core services.
  3. Get the long-overdue four-laning of River Road lined up for central government funding.
