Why I'm standing

The newly adopted nine-year plan paints a bleak future for our city and its people. Rates rising over 80%, debt rising to $1.09 billion, no robust economic development plan, this is unsustainable for many households and especially for our elderly and a future debt that will be up to our children and their children to deal with. Enough is enough. We must change this trajectory.

About me

I have lived in Dunedin over half my life. I raised my family up here. Dunedin is home. I bring over 30 years experience across govt, business, retail and trade. I was CEO of a large council serving through two terms. I know how to get results. I lead with respect, integrity, transparency and accountability. Now I want to put that experience to work for Dunedin.

My priorities
  1. Live within our means as rates are rising faster than many people can afford and so should the DCC.
  2. Reduce debt and grow the local economy.
  3. Be transparent and accountable restoring trust back in the community.
