Dunedin City Council
The Dunedin City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of 14 councillors and the mayor. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing
I believe that the climate and ecological emergency is the most pressing issue facing all of us and I want to see the strongest possible action to reduce the harms that we are causing and those we will experience.

I believe in a true local democracy that informs people, listens to them and supports their ideas and decisions to be put into practice via People's and Citizens Assemblies.
My priorities
- Ensure that Ōtepoti continues with the Zero Carbon Plan 2030.
- Consult with the people of Dunedin via peoples and citizens assemblies.
- Tell the truth about the extent of the climate and ecological crisis.
