Why I'm standing

I'm running for council because I believe I can bring a unique but much needed perspective to the table. I am a youthful, neurodivergent, open-minded creative who knows social equity is a basic human right. Combined with my Green values like ecological wisdom and appropriate decision making, I believe I can help shape a fair, sustainable and thriving Ōtepoti.

About me

I'm a visual designer and illustrator who has worked closely with local government for three years, bringing a thoughtful but imaginative lens to complex challenges. I'm an active volunteer across several Dunedin communities, including Aroha Kaikorai Valley and John's Sketch Club where I champion creative initiatives. I am values-led, community-focussed. I believe real progress comes from listening, not talking, because valuable insights come from the people who live here.

My priorities
  1. Access and opportunity. Nā te iho ko te korero, nā te whakaaro nui ko te mūmū.
  2. Innovation. I orea te tuatara ka patu ki waho.
  3. Co-creation. Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.
